Artiste Information
Chris James is a seasoned UK country and rockabilly artist from South Wales, with a musical journey shaped by passion, resilience, and an unshakable love for performing. He picked up his first guitar at 14, bought from a local shop owned by country musician Pat Derby—who would go on to mentor Chris and help launch his performance career.
After cutting his teeth with Pat’s band, The Coyotes, Chris ventured into rock, fronting various bands across genres before returning to his country and rock & roll roots.
Today, he tours the UK and Europe as a dynamic country performer, known for his nostalgic 50s rockabilly shows and heartfelt live performances. With over three decades of experience, Chris still brings the same youthful energy and joy to every stage he steps on.
